Helpdesk

Due to the success of our Retirement Helpdesk, we have decided to roll out a new Helpdesk service to our younger clients.
This service will be available between 10am and 4pm Mon -Fri on 01 6910312.
Our team of In-House Financial Advisors will be on hand to answer any queries you may have, to include the following;
  • What happens to my AVC if I stop paying premiums?
  • Have you moved Department / Employer?
  • Have you left the Public Sector?
  • Do you have a pension from a previous employer?
  • Are you aware of how your AVC fund is invested?
  • Do you know what your options are at retirement?
  • Are you taking Maternity Leave / other leave?
  • Have your personal circumstances changed? (marriage / moving house etc)
  • How do I protect my income in the event of death or illness?
This service is free to all our clients. We look forward to hearing from you.

Retirement Helpdesk

As part of our ongoing service to our retiring / retired clients, we are delighted to introduce the IPF Help Desk, phone number 01 6910312.

Any Public Sector employee can now ring this designated number any afternoon between 2pm and 4pm during the working week and have their queries and questions dealt with by a Qualified Financial Advisor with expertise in the Public Sector Superannuation Scheme.

 

Typical queries we have been getting to our office are:

  • How will I be taxed on my AVC drawings?
  • How do I draw down income from my Approved Retirement Fund?
  • Am I invested in the appropriate funds/Can I switch to a more/less risky fund?
  • What are my options re other savings e.g. my gratuity etc.
  • What will happen to my pension if I pass away in retirement?
  • Can I maintain my Death in Service cover in retirement?
  • Will my family have an Inheritance Tax liability?

This service is completely free and you can ring our offices as often as you wish.
